11th Annual "A Taste of Phoenixville" to benefit the Good Samaritan Shelter
Phoenixville, PA: Phoenixville's premier food, wine, beer festival event will take place on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 6-10 p.m. at the Phoenixville Foundry. A Taste of Phoenixville, now in its 11th year, raises funds for the Good Samaritan Shelter. ALL proceeds benefit the Shelter. As of this notice, the 2013 Taste of Phoenixville sponsors are Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust, The Foundry, Party Rental LTD and Robert Ryan Catering & Design.
The event will again feature live music and dancing, an auction and all the fine food you can eat. Greg and Linda Hytha and their band "Rhapsody" have been a part of this event since its inception and will again provide the live music. Tickets are on sale for $75 ($85 at the door). Free ample parking is available. Following is a list of restaurants that participated last year and will be returning to the 2013 event.

There will no doubt be more restaurants added to this list as the event draws near.
The Phoenixville Foundry, located at 2 Main St. in Phoenixville, is the newest and largest special event place in Chester County with 18,000 square feet of flexible event space. Once the site of the Phoenix Iron and Steel Company, Phoenixville Foundry is a unique blend of Richardson-Romanesque Style industrial charm and interior modern amenities that add an elegant sophistication to every occasion.

Since 2002 the Good Samaritan Shelter has been serving the needs of homeless men in the greater Phoenixville area. Today, the organization owns five buildings on High Street and provides shelter and services to over 100 men annually.
